Paraffin Melting Tool (PMT)
The SageRider PMT (Paraffin Melting Tool) is a patented, battery-powered tool conveyed on all forms of wireline (slickline, braided line and e-line), using heat plus a cutting system to remove paraffin from the production tubing wall and restore tubing to full drift. The PMT heats its cutting head to more than 450°F, enabling full removal and full-drift production tubing — cutting traditional land paraffin-removal jobs that took 4–8 hours down to around 45 minutes.
Our Reservoir Group alliance also extends to related wellbore-intervention capability: milling and cutting tools (Max-Drill™ motors) for composite frac plugs, seats, cement and scale; wellbore cleaning and debris-removal tools (Tidal Force Tool, venturi junk baskets, washover shoes, hydraulic under-reamers); fishing and retrieval solutions (flow-release slick-catch spears, overshots, cutting/snipping overshots); and INFOCOIL real-time downhole pressure, tension/compression, temperature and CCL data acquisition during intervention.
